It's more a matter of preference - do you want the slightly overscale MDF buildings (I think of them a bit like movie sets) that allow figures to move inside them easily, or the slightly smaller plastic ones that allow more of the outdoors terrain.William Bailiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13067891032813036738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-24294570419011047542024-01-16T11:20:58.413-08:002024-01-16T11:20:58.413-08:00They look great Will, sadly scale creep will conti...They look great Will, sadly scale creep will continue to haunt us & bases will always be an issue for small areas to work well.Terry Silverthornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02873668652853883440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-33669727802702189712023-12-19T22:12:35.396-08:002023-12-19T22:12:35.396-08:00Thanks, Phil! Thanks, Phil!William Bailiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13067891032813036738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-46224856472637807902023-12-19T06:44:23.457-08:002023-12-19T06:44:23.457-08:00Lovely additions, superb bases and some effective ...Lovely additions, superb bases and some effective weapons here!Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08913029478686087197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-64089298863982717072023-12-11T17:46:49.837-08:002023-12-11T17:46:49.837-08:00Thanks, Phil! Thanks, Phil!William Bailiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13067891032813036738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-7353570375740849352023-12-11T09:06:17.408-08:002023-12-11T09:06:17.408-08:00Wow, effective work, lovely terrain!Wow, effective work, lovely terrain!Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08913029478686087197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953978066664982634.post-70725190287987764602023-12-04T01:43:46.962-08:002023-12-04T01:43:46.962-08:00Why my good man, of course Our good queen Victoria...Why my good man, of course Our good queen Victoria was on the roof rampart with us - in our hearts - to beat off the natives, be them Afghans or Martians!

I have put in the Sargeant for the DC and may put in a bit of a report to a reporter friend of mine at The Times to show the plunk of my troops but your own report is accurate enough.
….Lt. There's also the idea of using Xenos Rampant or Men Who Would Be Kings. If I can get my hands on a copy, I might consider Warhammer Historical Wargaming's OOP The Great War (basically WH40k for WWI). More importantly, I've got the TFL's Stout Hearts and Iron Troopers, which is chock full of WWI scenarios.
