Two more tanks for my 1940 Germans. These are a Panzer I and a Panzer II from Die Waffenkamer. As usual, lovely models from JTFM! Once again, I kept the paint job as simple as possible.
The tank commander for the Panzer II is removable.
I was surprised to find out how small the Panzer I is! It is about the size of a British universal carrier. Here's a comparison shot with a soldier looming over it :)
Looking good Will. I had the same thought when I saw the size comparison of the Matilda 1!

I'm used to thinking of some other early war tanks as tiny, but since the PzrI has the same basic shape as later marks, I was lulled into thinking it was close in size as well. Someday soon, I'll need to post an 'Armies on Parade' with comparison shots for all my 1940 armies.
