Here are some reinforcements for my 1916-18 WWI German zug. These are all from Great War Miniatures.
First up, here are a dozen regular infantry. As typical for WWI Germans, loads of potato masher grenades!
Plus on the right,one more of the Wargames Atlantic Germans that was AWOAL when I painted up all of his comrades.
In addition, we have snipers and special weapons teams, starting with a 13.2 mm tankgewehr M1918 anti-tank rifle, balanced rather precariously on a pile of bricks, especially considering how much recoil this weapon must have!
Flamethrowers like this Flammenwerfer M.16 first made a widespread appearance in WWI.
In addition, there is a team of 4 snipers, two with ominous looking face masks!
I like these snipers with their scenic bases.
Lovely additions, superb bases and some effective weapons here!
