Feldgendarmerie

 In 02h00, the German defenders come in two varieties:  sentries, who are regular German army (Wehrmacht), who are marginally better at combat (shooting), and the Feldgendarmerie or Military Police, who are slightly better at observation and spotting intruders.  In order to make it easy for players to know which of their figures are sentries and which are feldgendarmerie, I decided that the feldgendarmerie will all wear greatcoats.

Of course the real uniform distinction for the feldgendarmerie is their big, dinner-plate sized gorget plates.  I've added these to the figures where I could, but for game purposes the greatcoats will be the easiest way to identify them.

Most of these figures are German infantry in greatcoats, given to me by Doug.  I think but am not certain that they may be from Warlord Games.  If you can confirm their origin, please let me know in the comments below!  The last feldgendarm (the one with the flashlight) is from the Wargames Atlantic German sentries sprue that comes with the 02h00 base set.  

They look cold and miserable!  These are the rifle-armed ones.  Gorget plates are added from the WA sentries sprue.

I also built these two dog handlers.  Dogs are very useful to help the defender spot intruders and raise the alarm.

And here are the remaining guards from the sprues.  The prisoner has great potential for a variety of scenarios!

Finally, a scientist.  Some day I will need to learn how to paint things to look like glass, like this Erlenmeyer flask.  Today is not that day!
